CSS Patrick Henry(Langton 1/1200)

CSS Patrick Henry is brigantine-rigged side-wheel steamer which the private Old Dominion Steam Ship Line built in New York in 1859, and was put into service in between New York and Richmond.

She who was at anchor to James River by what the State of Virginia seceded on April 17, 1861 after outbreak of the Civil War will belong to the Confederate navy.

Although it was warship name Yorktown from the first, she who was armed with having moved the nationality of a ship to Confederate States of America by being named CSS Patrick Henry was incorporated as one for defending James River which leads to Richmond of the James River squadron.

CSS Patrick Henry took on the bombardment duty from a river etc. in the first game of war.
Although it participated as a consory vessel by the debut game of Virginia on March 8, 1862, in response to damage, it retreated and became a training ship for the naval officer of a Confederate navy after that.

When it was set to 1865 and Union Army approached the nearness of Richmond, James River was gone down as a member of the James River squadron who used Virginia II as the flagship, and it challenged to the naval battle, but there finished being no success in battle, and when Richmond fell on April 2, 1865, fire was released on the following day, the 3rd, and it disappeared.

This is an My original model.

It is the small screw type steamship built by the Civil War age, and is a ship of a torpedo attaching a depth charge to the point of the pole attached to the point of a warship head, contacting it to an enemy ship, and making it explode.
Although it will not not much result by the time this torpedo sinks an enemy ship by shortage of a misfire and gunpowder, and four torpedo boats (Hornet, Scorpion, Squib, Wasp) of the type manufactured this time were actually made, there was one ship which mentioned the success in battle which remains as record.

Although it seems that the gun was not stacked when the actual drawing was seen, since one gate of 12-pound glide guns were to be carried if the naval fleet data card of the war game "Ironclads" of a Yaquinto is seen, 1 in all gate picking attached to it.
Although this ship was built in the arsenal in Richmond in 1864, as stated also in advance, the success in battle which remains historically is only saying that CSS Squib did damage to USS Minnesota on April 7, 1864.It is said that CSS Squib which did damage was involved in the explosion, and incidentally sank.

USS Mississippi was the first Sidewheel Steam Frigate built in the U.S., and was also a navigation warship of the beginning of the U.S. Navy.

It completes in the Philadelphia naval arsenal on December 22, 1841, and is known also as one in the "KURO-FUNE" by which it came to Japan.Generally, although the "KURO-FUNE(Black Ship)" tends to be considered to have been an iron ship, since the paint of a tar was applied by wooden in fact, they looked black.This time, it is painting by the color of a gray applied into the Civil War.

A speed is with 16 knots and there is "CSS Hope" as a same type Blockade Runner.

Roanoke and Roanoke(Langton 1/1200)

Roanoke is the Colorado class screw type steamy frigate which was launched on December 13, 1855 and took office on March 4, 1857.In Roanoke, as the converted Merrimack into Virginia, a modification command on a monitor is given.

Modification was started on March 25 and Roanoke was again born to the monitor on June 29, 1863.
