A Blockade Runner is the ship which the Confederate army which had the harbor blocked by Union Army at the time of the Civil War built in order to break through it.
Since early and draft had a shallow speed, when the blockade ship pressed, it was able to run into ocean space with many shoals and reefs, and the pursuer was able to be shaken off.
A miniature is the Blockade Runner "CSS Colonel Lamb "(Langton 1/1200) completed in 1864.
A speed is with 16 knots and there is "CSS Hope" as a same type Blockade Runner.
