Paint of the "Franch Napoleonic Line Infantry with greatcoat 1812-1815" Part 1 (28mm Plastic /Parry miniatures)

A French Napoleonic Hussars's manufacture is also ended and the troops' on foot supplement work is done for the time being. The France army foot soldier plastic of perry is due to be manufactured this time by two pieces. It had declared since before "If it applies with much trouble, by great coat specification, it will not be interesting." However, in Perry French Infantry Plastic Kit, a half is greatcoat specification unwillingly. Then, for the time being, the foot soldier of greatcoat specification was extracted and it decided an one-piece battalion and for a two-piece large party to make all from full-dress specification by an one-piece battalion.
Well, when the battalion of both mixture was made last time, next, I thought that it was by this method. It is due to become the 30th regiment this time. This unit is the 1st infantry division unit of the 1st army corps of Davout at the time of the Russia campaign, and is the same affiliation as the 17th Line infantry regiments first battalion who made from Perry last time. One more piece is Light infantry battalion and, similarly it is due to become the 13th infantry regiments first battalion belonging to the 1st army division. Incidentally, since neither a skirmisher nor a commander is great coat specifications, the part is due to use the metal of the perry of a photograph for plastic.

  1. You can't go wrong with firing-line miniatures really. And I, much as you, like my battalions either in great-coats or full-dress. Not all mixed.

  3. I am in line with both of you here... Did the same for my 54éme Ligne last year:

It would just be great if there was another greatcoated command. I think I have 5 or 6 boxes of plastic French and always using the same command would be boring.

BTW... I saw the first batch two posts up... Looking good!

  4. I usually buy some metal command figures to give the command stands some individuality.
